OHS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT FIELD OFFICERS

Opportunities exist for motivated and experienced individuals to join the People & Resilience Branch in the newly created roles of OHS and Emergency Management Field Officer.

The primary responsibilities of the position are to monitor and provide expert advice to the region to ensure correct and efficient use of the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Emergency Management systems. The provision of support and training to relevant work areas will be required as part of this role.

We invite positive “can do” people who:

  • have a strong understanding and experience in applying the principles of  OH&S and Emergency Management systems
  • are passionate about improving workplace safety
  • have a working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework
  • can work effectively both independently and in a team environment

Qualifications in OH&S and/or Emergency Management together with experience in working in the Water Industry or related fields is desirable.

These positions can located in Warrnambool, Hamilton or Portland and offers a salary in the range of $63,487 to $73,612 plus 9.5% superannuation. Flexible working arrangements to meet family commitments can be considered for the right applicant.
