At times, we may need to temporarily switch off your water supply to carry out essential maintenance work in your area.
We’ll send you a notice ahead of time to advise of a planned interruption. We do our best to stick to our time schedule, but sometimes this work can take longer than anticipated.
What if I have a special need for water?

Should I store some water?
We suggest putting aside enough water for your needs during the interruption period e.g. fill up your kettle or jugs and have a bucket to flush your toilet.
What about my appliance that needs water?
Please be careful with heating and cooling appliances such as hot water services and refrigeration units. As these rely on the water supply, you should take note of the manufacturers’ recommendations for a water supply shut down.
What happens when my water is back on?
Sometimes your water might look a little cloudy or discoloured due to air being trapped in the water.
If this happens, just turn on a tap near the back of your property until the water runs clear. While it’s clearing, it’s best not to draw any hot water.
