What’s a Water Supply Agreement?
Some customers won’t have access to water on a reticulated water main. So, water pressure and quality cannot be guaranteed. This generally applies to customers on rural pipelines or those on the outskirts of an urban water supply area.
These customers may need to enter into a Water Supply Agreement contract. The agreement will set out terms and conditions for either potable (drinking) or non-potable (non-drinking) water, depending on the type of water supplied.
